A very important piece of my Trek T200 tandem project showed up in the mail today. A 1 1/4" Zoom quill stem modified with a 31.6 clamp. Now I just need to finish building the wheels and assembly can begin.

Lots of VAR stuff, some Park Tools and random bits and bobs. Started sorting my tools yesterday and the final purchase showed up today.

Yeah, it happened again...

Another tool identification question. My guess is that this is for facing brake mount? But Googling the markings on it (Silva 717 HS/C1 5/93) doesn't give me anything useful. Looks like it needs some parts.

Yeah or an outside caliper. I'd like it to be first, but I'm afraid it's the latter. But for what? Googling 'Park Tool outside caliper' just gives me a bunch of hits on digital Park Tool vernier calipers.

Yeah, I think the some Danish news sites chose to word it rather harshly. But they were still faced with the option of finishing tonight or playing at 12 tomorrow.

Apparently they weren't actually forced to finish it tonight, but was given the choice of playing tonight or at 12:00 tomorrow. They chose to play tonight.

Sorry if this isn't worded very well, but according to the Danish national team coach, Kasper Hjulmand, they were forced by the UEFA to finish the game tonight, with the only other option being tomorrow at 12:00. Simon Kjær, the Danish captain, had to be subbed off after seing one of his closest friends nearly dying. Absolutely appalling decision. I was watching with the game with a bunch of guys Eriksens age and from the same part of the country and have never seen a reaction anything like this.
At least Danish television cut the feed and just showed helicopter footage of the stadium. Apparently the BBC and BeIn Sports kept the feed going?

No, I tried finding a 40h Sputnik too, but no luck. Ended up with a 36h Alivio hub and Sputnik combo.
Kinlin ADHN looks like it's available in 40h, but doesn't look the sturdiest

Ah, yeah. Have been on the same search for a decent rim for my Shimano 40h hub. Went for a Sputnik and an Alivio hub.

Respaced the axle, which leaves 3 mm of exposed axle each side.

Doh. Alivio, not Tiagra.

I've used a bog standard Tiagra hub and added a 5 mm spacer on the NDS. Improved the bracing angle slightly too.

It struck me half way through: I might be wasting his time. He might never get to drive something fuelled by dinosaurs.

Late reply, but they do both 1.3 and 1.5ah batteries. Maybe they mostly come bundled with tools.
