My dad was a Citroën man as well. Went through most of their family cars: 2CV, Dyane, GS, GSA, BX, CX, Xantia and a C3 Picasso in the end - Oh how he loathed going from the Xantia to that one, but shit knees are shit knees. Was planning on buying and restoring a Mehari when he retired, but never got that far. Might do one in his memory one day...

Another lighting question:
At the moment, my kitchen is lit by a flourescent tube in the ceiling and some smaller flourescent tubes underneath some cupboards. I'm building a small table to serve as a place to eat, when it's only me and/or my son eating.
I've got some Louis Poulsen worklamps that I thought I'd use as general lighting - maybe two hanging 1,5 metres apart in the middle of the ceiling:

Then I'd hang a couple of Abo lamps in front of the window. The floor has been painted Ral 5009, so I'd paint them in a matching blue or grey shade:

Maybe I should just get another one of those and hang above the small table?
Any input?

What do you want to see? Classic touristy stuff like the Little Mermaid, some royal extravaganzas and a museum or two? Or something else?

I have an extra standing in the attic. I know how much it weighs and I'm not dipping it into anything. Sponge on a stick sounds like it's worth a try and less messy than spraypaint.

I'm in the middle of a discount version of @I_am_Hingis' weightloss journey. Started out at around 105-108 kg last year and through a great deal of ups and downs, have now reached 94,9 kg as of today. Another 10 to go, which I plan on having sorted before September...

My bathroom is rather small too, so I store them upright. They seem to work fine and give consistent readings, after having laid on the floor for a few minutes. I don't know if me activating them, and then leaving them for said few minutes makes a difference.

Bit late, but my scales - not Tanitas - are way off, when they've been stored upright. I usually lay them flat, step on them, go sort breakfast and then step on them again. Seems to work.

Speaking of helmets: My Giro Savant has cracked and I'm looking for a replacement. My skull is quite long and narrow and the Savant fit lengthwise, but is a bit wide. Tried a Giro Synthe, which was almost perfect, but a few mm short. Any suggestions for helmets that fit long and narrow heads?

Yeah, that kind of looks like it, but the headtube, seatstays and downtube are quite a bit thicker on mine.

No, that takes mudguards, so will make a perfect winter beater. It's not like I'm trying to clear out my pile of bikes, is it?
