Surface shorts, black, worn twice for about 10 miles total, they're just too big for me. Size 'M' is actually 34", it says inside the shorts but I noticed too late.

I bought those Surface shorts. Like them but they come up quite big, guessing around a 34" for Medium as opposed to the 32" that most cycle gear seems to be at that size. So I wear a belt.

I could do you a computer for a tenner. I've two lying around. Comes with new batteries too.

Changes from stock spec are:

90mm FSA stem, the stock 110 was a bit long for me but I still have it if required
M520 pedals, can provide flats instead (no straps I'm afraid) if you're not into clipless.

Whoever it is that deals with final payments is clamping down on it and has issued a formal guide as to what the payment should be. From what I hear it's more or less a 0% loan now, rather than the fat saving it was.

Just wanted to know what people thought of the Swrves as I know loads of you lot have them, on reflection 3/4 lengths may be too long for my compact build and the shorter shorts are out of stock. I'll wait for a sale.

Not bothered about saving money, my posterior demands comfort. Main reasons: zip pockets, reinforced arse area, no seams to chafe inside leg. Jeans over padded shorts are ok for a bit, not so nice on longer rides.

Mark / Dan, do you wear regular or sprint fit (the one for fat thighs)?

Admittedly I've not looked that hard, but the market for cycle specific clothing that looks like normal clothing is pretty small. It's not like everyone turns up in theirs every week though, I'm sure we'd get away with another pair on Friday rides.

I'm working on my NVS uniform and looking at Swrves 3/4 lengths. What's the verdict on these? Cotton or WWR? Standard or sprint cut?
