Just noticed that Hongfu has released an all-road type disc frame with bigger clearances (35mm) and thru axle (fork). Quite interesting imo if the price is right. Don't really get the combination of aero and gravel though.

Bibs = Quite alright in all black.
Jerseys = Quite good.
Gilets = Shite

First ride today. Really like this setup, but love the chainring! It does make the pedal motion feel more even/smooth. Not a huge deal but enough to really improve the ride. Also the 40t should suffice. Could ride plenty fast on the small cogs without spinning out.

Edit. How many grammes does one really save/what are the actual pro's with not running a full length cable outer? Never understood these brake cable stops. Surely a full length outer would look better.

Built up for a test ride. Sunny and dry outside for the first time in months but no point in fitting expensive tires just yet.

Good allround tubeset. Never weighed the frame. Have it stripped down at the moment so might if i get hold of a scale.

Should probably improve my own strength and cardio before blaming the tubes. It's fast and light enough. Would just be a bonus if it was a bit tighter, and maybe built in life/spirit tubing. Had i ordered it today i had built it around the kinesis tracer 380mm fork with clearance for ~32mm tires.

Waiting for the oval Absoluteblack direct mount cx1 chainring to be released (today) before i built it up again. Also tires. Loved the compass but just found the Soma supple vitesse & Shikoro which seem nice as well.

Anyone had the Kinesis Crosslight V3 Disc wheels and know what bearings are used? Need to replace the rear. Awaiting answer from kinesis.

It's either S-One, G-One, Gravelking 32mm (Slicks) or Compass 32/35mm (If they're tubeless compatible).

Good gearing input. I'm used to 50/34 12-28. Prob not enough high gears with 38t.

Might as well buy when it's cheap (even though stuff on bike24 always seem to be on sale) . At least 2 months until the snow clears here.

Will be sticking to my current TRP Spyres and Kinesis wheelset. Been quite satisfied with their performance so no reason to swap them out just yet. With 11-36 cassette i can keep the wheels and convert them to tubeless. Pretty good value imo.

Anyone got experience with Hunt Wheels? Been looking at these:

Going tubeless and Sram 1X which means i need a new wheelset for XD cassette.

Any better alternatives around 1500g and £400?
