Jesus christ the OP is insane. I hope I never meet one of these so-called 'females'.
Problem: Woman finds box of stuff detailing how Man tried to kill himself over the breakup of previous marriage.
Solution: Confront man and shout at him because box of stuff makes Woman feel jealous?!?!
Solution from mumsnet users: ignore it!How about the SANE option: approach Man and deal with past like adults.
/losing faith in humankind.

really?
I was disappointed by it.
I think it's because I read a review which said it starts slowly, but the second half of the game is full of some incredible set pieces etc.
I got all the way to the end, still waiting for these set pieces! It felt like I'd somehow missed out a huge chunk of the game.
I think the fact that there was a 3 month gap half way through playing that did the most damage though. All the same i felt that it was very monotonous game play and a bit uninspiring. And not scary enough! After the 70th shadowy figure emerges from behind some boxes you sort of lose the shock factor.
Still i did stick it through to the end, so in that respect it beats bioshock...

Oh for fuck's sake.
Xbox 360 just died on me. 3 red lights of doom. I looked on the microsoft website... I didn't even know the light on the power unit could go green?! Mine has been orange the whole time I've owned it. Unfortunately I can only assume that means it's a hardware problem, and my unit is well over 3 years old. Total fucking bull shit.
This year has been pretty shit. There's been illness, a death in the family, memory loss, and I'm now living on my own, in an expensive flat, with an Xbox that doesn't work. Dark times.

Well, as it happens my sport of choice is iron-distance triathlon.
Stopped reading after that. No offence, but in my line of work, this normally precludes some absolute bollocks about being able to feel resistance on bearings on some brand new wheels ("Nah mate, I do ironman distances, I can feel that on my bike"), or being angry about not knowing the weight of bar tape ("Nah mate, I do ironman distances, the weight is totally important"), or being somehow worth special treatment in some way ("Can I not get 10% more discount off these shoes that are already 50% off? I do ironman distances you know!!")
Again, I'm sure you're not a prick, but this my prejudice and I'm sticking to it.

thats handy indeed Ed, they should've done it 3 weeks ago before I went to Poland for holiday, at that time I had to do it all manually (did take few pictures handheld with different exposures and merged them with Photomatix Pro) and the worst thing is that it didn't work, I only managed one picture that way and even though its not perfectly done, some artifacts visible:

where is this HDR option in 4.1? or is it only available on the iPhone 4.

I hate waiting to hear back from potential employers about whether my job application was successful or not, especially when I cannot even begin to face the idea of going to work in my current job and want to quit as soon as possible, but can't bring myself to do it incase I need to get a good reference from them... and also the prospect of not having a job is marginally worse.
hurry up and tell meeeeeeeeeee

^^ha! annoying, isntit?
Apple launch a product and make it sound like a total revolution, then it turns out that, while at first it just looked like a giant iphone (where is that pic of simon pegg?), unwieldy and a bit stupid, it's actually got a use for quite a lot of people.
I think i'd need more music programs released for it before I could justify getting one - right now I might as well spend £400 on some hardware rather than £605 on an ipad and a cool soft synth.
