I dont get it... Its supopsed to be PORN. This is like porn where the leading lady is a good hugger and a great cook.
Functional bikes thread >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
No, the fact that you can ride it in a field doesn't make it practical. At least not more so than a road bike, which is a lot better on the road, where most of us do most of their riding anyway. I know what porn is about and I just really like the look of that bike, which surprises me because I don't typically like Surlys and cross bikes in general.

i know what i want from my build : stiff, fast, flickable, light, strong enough for potholes, sporty looking not bmx-y looking, bum up hands down riding position, lots of space for legs to turn, or potentially just a high saddle.
Visp is the way to go, keeping in mind that you're on a budget. Note that some people will advise you against getting a Visp, these people are either a. pretentious bellends or b. from the stone age and wary of any aluminium frame. Either way for the money these are handsome frames:

Ha I was going to get one of those just because they're so cheap. Hadn't made my mind up whether I should get this one or the other new visp frameset. Stumbled upon something else before I placed an order though, so I put it on hold.
Edit: they actually don't say anywhere that these frames are Visps and they aren't available with Visp logos. They are sold by the same seller though and I suspect made by the same factory. But (especially in bike land) not all things that come from one factory are the same brand.

^thats an old pea, is this?
Thought it looked familiar, but it was uploaded to fixed gear gallery only a week ago so I figured I was wrong. That monstrosity you posted is also a repost yes, but it's still really ugly.

I've been a fan of the Canyon lettering ever since they introduced it. The form doesn't interfere with the function, they don't wrap around the tubes and become illegible like on that "NOSL" or some Cinelli's and I've seen others but can't seem to think of their names. Cinelli are the creme de la creme when it comes to ultra wank logo placement btw.

Are the bars on the Crosscheck a pair of On One Fleegles? I've been wanting to try out a pair of them on my ss mtb but I'm afraid it will make the bike feel more like a town bike.. Anyone got experience with them?
