front break ain't gonna help you skid. unless you can do that going backwards front wheel skid thing that i've only ever seen Dangeruss do.

not true Si, pulling the front brake abit while skidding unweights the back wheel and makes skidding alot easier

cheers dude. im fairly short actually :( 5ft7 and riding a 54cm bike atm. my mates was a 55 though, that seemed ok with a lowered seatpost.

@ nesbit83 see my post on that thread, 240 looks quite steep unless it is a genuine peugeot track frame (never heard of them) and not just a cheap pug with track dropouts welded on....

if you show up to polo there will always be a bike and mallet to borrow from whoever is there, also there is a current loaner polo bike floating around so if you post early that you will be coming we can let u borrow that.

id like to give polo a go. ive had a 15 min fart about on my mates bike, but thats about it. what are the chances of having a go on someones bike one day?

i dread the day i get a "do a skid". unless i cheat and use my front brake i often just end up with a semi hard slowing of speed. only excuse is weak knees and being ginger really
