Maybe give that a try when I finally get home tonight!
I've managed to cash in on not sleeping, did a week of night shifts this week, then an extra shift today that has ended up being 17 hours long so far, but its pure overtime and I'm waiting around watching TV waiting for a computer progress bar to move. Not exciting, but not too shabby either!

I've pretty much stuck to the 35mm on my d7000 since I got it.
Bought a 50mm just over a month ago and really like it, fantastic for portraits, I felt like I was getting too close to people to get the framing I wanted, its nice having a bit of distance.
Plus it works out that the zoom on the 50mm matches your eye on my camera, so you can shoot with both eyes open. Bit weird of whoever your shooting though, but I like the idea that your shooting with the same sort of perspective as your eyes.
