In a bikeshop at Hoegaarden, Belgium (yes, wellknown for its famous brewerie) last summer, I found this Minerva. Was very charmed by its beautiful and bright colourscheme, couldn't resist and took the bike home.
Minerva, a small Belgian brand that made nice and solid bikes. Like this Minerva: not for competition or roadracing but a lovely touring bike

You're right bluesky. But the bike comes from a lady; adjusted seat and bar on a way that gave her most comfort. I expect the bike goes to a lady again. It is likely she also wants most comfort (and if not, it ís nothing to change the adjustment in a more racey way).

Sorry no framesticker so I am not 100% sure what tubing it is. I follow Peter V (thank you Peter)who says it's Ishiwata. And indeed the bike feels very light and has a strong and straight ride, njust like a racing bike.
