Hi there, not sure if this is the right forum but I've used the search function, yet to no avail; alas, I've been trying to find out information about Hetchins, with little success. From what I understand, they were originally based in Tottenham, also having a shop in Southend after needing to expand. The information is very blurry after this.

Hi there, a bit of a longshot but I thought it'd be foolish of me not to try; I'm looking for some chrome De Rosa forks for my current project (http://static.lfgss.com/attachments/21326d1266090206-dsc_4983.jpg).

The better the condition is obviously favourable, but I understand price varies monumentally with De Rosa. Fortunately, Colnago_costa has a pair (or singular, how does grammar work for forks?) of some, but at a quite costly price, so I was just wondering if any of you lovely people had any knocking about that you were willing to sell?

All the pros are good descenders if you compare it to ordinary mortals. We're talking about differences between the pros. I can't remember if it was David Harmon or Sean Kelly who said about Schleck a few days ago: 'He seems to sit on the bike, as opposed to in the bike, if you know what I mean.' I think that puts the difference very well.

Interesting, kind of agree, kind of not. I'd rate him as probably one of the best descenders in this tour, behind Sanchez and maybe one or two others. From when his chain dropped, he was probably the most animated rider, I honestly thought he was going to pull the yellow jersey back.

Shleck is a good descender. It was just unfortunate that Contador had Sanchez to follow throughout the descent.

I didn't think they'd be very good. Just looked interesting. From my first google search I learn that apparently all handcuffs share the same lock. Odd. They might be good for locking your seat to the frame if you had to.

I'm not sure if this has been posted; not currently willing to browse through all 14 pages, but today I saw someone near Angel Islington that had a lock up including a pair of handcuffs. Looked quite an interesting lock-up and just the connotations of handcuffs would have deterred me if I were a thief. Shows how lame and gullible I am.
Has anyone had experience of using handcuffs as a lock?

Meeeeh it could be anywhere now. I've given up looking on fleabay, gumtree. Looks like its found a new home now, hope the fucker has a niggling feeling at the back of their head whilst riding it and karma restores justice.
