Just back here from Denmark where I left my Genesis Flyer (over there frequently, and didn't wanna keep carting it back and forth). Now looking for another SS, and in a bit of a quandary.
I have an old Falcon Team Banana that I've converted to singlespeed. D'you guys reckon it's worth spending the cash on new bits for this bike, or would this be a false investment? Should I save the money, and put it towards a new bike, keeping the converted banana for trips to the pub etc?
I suppose what I'm asking is how d'you rate the frame of the Team Banana? Anyone know what material it's made from? I've read both that it's Reynolds 501 and that it's 531.
Cheers,
