A car travelling at 30 MPH would clear 400 meters in just under 30 seconds. In that time you would have to stop your bike, dismount it, adopt a suitable firing position (at the upper reaches of your range this would probably have to be prone), bring your weapon to bear, adjust for wind direction and bullet drop, (assuming that you are using a .308 this would be negligible but would have to be factored in nonetheless), work out how much to lead the target by, ensure that you are not putting any innocents in the firing line, check variables again, unsafe your weapon and then fire. Add to this the fact that your scope would probably need to re-zeroed what with all of the bumps / vibrations from carrying it on your bike, it would be a very impressive shot Mr Jackal. Hypothetically speaking of course.
Hmmm, apart from the fact that the vehicle would probably be moving away from me so it would be a zero deflection shot and I wouldn't have to worry about drop as at 400m zero the round is only 32cm above sight line at mid trajectory, so aim at centre of mass and it'll get the sucker no matter what. Oh, and I'd be quite happy with a standing shot for a target of that size.
Yes, apart from all that, you don't actually think that I would ride around with a gun slung on my back, do you?
Really:-)
And its melons every time.
Sounds like an average Saturday in night in Peckham sadly :-(

Anyone know what causes this weird way of writing left-handed people do? Is it because we write left-to-write or are their brains just wired to make everything really difficult?
I read somewhere (probably on tinterweb so must be true) that the hook was due to not wanting to smudge the wet ink that had just been left on the paper.

Makes 99.99% of our jobs pointless when you think what he, and his colleagues do day in, day out.
Nuff said.

STI's these days, and it can all be done by whizzing in a pot, progress progress.

Buggers just charged me £50 for a journey that lasted under 10 minutes. They basically think I returned the bike at 3am rather than at 5:40pm when I did return it.
Thankfully I recall the day clearly as I was racing one of the guys in the office and know precisely when I returned it and even that the light was slow to go green (frustrated me at the time as I wanted to run to the finish line).
Still... £50 for erros in their system that don't acknowledge when the bike is returned.
Interesting, exactly the same issue for me, but on a bike I couldn't take out of the rack, relocked itself when it wouldn't budge, key then unworkable for the rest of the day and yet the call centre saying everything ok..... Meanwhile yesterday told charged 50 quid for apparently that days hire when the bike reappered on their system at 0.03hrs the following day. Call centre seemed to be no record on my account of the complaints on the day as they my have gone to the overflow call centre?!?! They have promised to refund, but that will take 14 days.

Loving the sound effect at 55secs, seems to look a lot more relaxed on the last stand at the end - practice and perfect?
