Well according to the nice people who tend the gardens when I asked towards the end of last year... I've never seen them mind, and I've lived round the corner for years, but they should know! I'm a bigger fan of the Pelicans...but that could be a whole new thread !

Mate of mine, couple of years ago, former motorcycle traffic cop, T-boned square on at a road-junction doing only about 20mph using the full kit, lights, sirens the lot, broad day light, as a car pulled out...

Just to say great great service in Condor this afternoon when discussing an (effective) OTP Pista... happy, smiley (cute!), informed, helpful staff..... only downside would be 4-5 weeks to build it...... all good things come to those that wait.... but that's tuff for us boys with ADD.

But the Pista so so so much nicer than the Plastic-Fantastic offerings at E***s...... decisions decisions.....

ADD and Indecisive, dreadful mix....!

But good on Condor for tolerating it so far :-)

Hey... and I can write a press release about it, or 5,000 words by 1am if you feed me coffee and custard creams....

Looking for an interesting 58-60 SS, budget up to around £450 notes.. yeah, I know I should build my own, but I wanna be out riding not rubbing my body down with Swarfega... and the only really gorgeous frames I've seen have been... on other people's bikes already.

Best rumour we heard this week is that Masterchef presenters John Torode and Greg Wallace can't stand the sight of each other. So bad is the fractious relationship, they only film together when ABSOLUTELY necessary.

This sounds unbelievable and weird, but watching last night's semi final with this in mind, I'm starting to wonder if it's true...

Watch it and notice how many of the scenes are of them talking to camera as if they are having a conversation. The rumour is that ALL these scenes are filmed separately and then edited together.

...so can anyone explain how Westminster Council's policy of taking away barriers to stop ped's walking out into the street (e.g. outside Great Portland Street Station)... or flattening the height difference between roads and pavements so there's no kerb (e.g. Shaftsbury Ave) is going to result in less accidents between cars/bikes/m'bikes and peds/children/animals ???

Or is it just me being thick?

3.30 yesterday in the rain, going west on Shaftsbury Ave towards Pic Circus... v.nice looking blue Dawes, cycle courier and a rather nasty black (but very effective) rear mud/water guard keeping his back dry.
