Change in the weather today.

There is also a seam running east to west under the legs, and where they cross over the compass points mine have what i'd call a 'bobble'. Which is fine when worn over a liner, but noticable when worn over plain ol'boxers. I've worn them on rides up to 150km'ish and they were pretty comfy.
Yeah the one zipped pocket is weird. Also no zip for a wazz is odd. But I do like the closing magnetic method.
Nobody asked, but I'd give them a 8/10. Probably the only piece of Rapha kit other than a waterproof jacket I have of theirs that is worth the salt. edit - That I've tried.
If you can find a pair, the Howies Wonster Short is hands down the best 'stylish baggy not baggy' short i've owned, and I've ridden a lot of miles in 'stylish baggy not baggy' shorts.

Yeah they are, live the next village south and there is an abondance of lovely off road paths.
Not sure I'd call any of it 'gravel' though. You need a Mud'n'Chalk bike. Although I just ride my touring bike as in the summer it's all perfectly manageable.
For 'gravel' you need to head to the New forest, where you can legit do just 'gravel' loops.

I don't think it needs much investment at all. Probably only new bit you possibly NEED is a chain, but only if this seized. (and maybe brake cables). Those cassettes will last longer than the earth. Tyres/tubes only if they don't hold air and the tyres cracked.
If anything it just needs a thorough clean and rust scrub. Then lube the chain.
At a real push new wheels wouldn't hurt, a set of super cheap 2nd hand one's in reasonable nick.

Thinking of upgrading my a6300, as its a few years old now and seen a lot of punishment (including perhaps one too many bike crashes!).
As i mostly use my 200-600 sony lens for wildlife now, I'm torn between the a6600 and the a7iii. As much as i'd like a A9, I'm not quite ready to shell out £4k.
a7iii looks good, better low light handling, and more light on the sensor, so should help on that front, but I would be sacrificing the 1.5x of the APS-C.
Anyone had any hands on with either camera?

To counter the negativity, I thought it was really good, probably enjoyed it more than any of the bioshock games and way more than the modern Deus ex games. Thought it had a good clever story, very good atmosphere and excellent world building of mini stories, people etc.
Not sure how you can say rubbish guns with the Gloo gun? That thing was fantastic, make your own ladders on any surface etc.
Found the shoot the aliens until they're dead comment funny, shot them until they're Alive? Shoot them till they're nearly dead then make them a coffee? What are the alternatives?
The alien upgrades are also excellent, turning into objects never gets old.
Just my thoughts. It's up there with the better games I've played in recent times. It's actually something a bit different and slower paced.
Yeah I was lucky. Had my camera to hand from photoing the moon from the loft. Then this morning when I went to get it, saw the sparrowhawk!
@adroit thanks :-)
