Tbf when i drove out to yours along the A363 i did question what kind of sadist would enjoy riding on this route!
Nice bike/bikes @hakatone - GLWS.

Not sure why exactly
Anecdotal but it could have had something to do with the piss poor upkeep brought on by trade in options and maybe even extended warranties. I spent a lot of my youth being dragged around service shops that one by one folded through the 90s. A reoccurring comment when i asked them what was happening was that no one could or could be bothered to maintain there car anymore.
I suspect if you asked them today they'd say it was because of the forrins and tofu mob.

The Name of the Rose
One of those films i remember as it regularly featured in the video club at the back of my gran's Radio Times in the 80's. From memory it would be closer to the top left of the page with other grown up stuff like Witness, Killing fields and The Mission. Bottom right was for Porky's, Maniac cop and Emmanuelle.

Probably not the first time i've said it this year but that was an enjoyable yet largely predictable race. Big day for Alonso, kudos to Palmer for predicting how close he would push Verstappen. Not sure if Perez is a shoe in for second this season but hoping for a Hamilton/Alonso battle for third.
Sad to see Leclerc's season falling away, Sainz seems to have the edge on him atm, maybe next week will bring a change of fortune...

Sad times but i think i need to move this on to make space.
53cm Surly Steamroller frameset with lightly used Cane Creek 40 Headset, Thomson seatclamp and Silver Shimano brakes (correct drop). I wanted it a bit more stealth for commuting so it's been de-logo'd bar a seat tube graphic. Plenty of little marks if you get up close but no dents and it still looks tidy IMO. Think everyone knows all there is to know about these frames but this setup fixed with 35 knobblies was probably my most enjoyed bike in recent times. Unfortunately i now need something more mundane for my daily. I'll get some frame shots later but build pic below for reference (rear brake will be included).
Asking for £210>£200-SOLD

@Shannonball @Sebasbike Need to do some market research but current thoughts are £200 for frameset with Thomson clamp and very lightly used Cane Creek 40 headset or £500 for full build with new (well less than 50 miles) Arkane wheelset but with different cranks to the Omniums.
Leaning towards split rather than full build and have plenty of bits that could be negotiated into price.

I've got a well loved but useable IKEA sofa i'm looking to shift if anyone fancies taking it away. One of the covers are ripped at the back and one half has a slight sag but it's got plenty of life left. Only moving on as it's just a bit too big for our needs. I'll get dims later but the feet frames and removeable to make transport easier. Note we have a dog that sleeps on this sometimes so wet vac might be desired.
Now gone.

Some absolute bangers over the last few pages, always nice to see old Cannondale's live on. @Babyldn really lovely build, red frame with black groupset and silver finishing kit looks lush.
