More LAN devices than ethernet ports on my router so have bought a switch. Should I plug everything into the switch and then one ethernet cable to router, or use as many router ports as I can first?

Current situ is an old 21.5 iMac (so no vesa), plus second monitor - used mostly for work. I'd like to get the monitor (plus another if replacing imac) off the desk and on arm mounts, so SFF/Mac mini are where I'm leaning. 2 x of us both 'work' on OSX and why there is no real reason why we couldn't switch to Windows, there is a lot of inertia the other way.

@chrisbmx116 how complicated is mac mini + external gpu + bootcamp for windows gaming? know you've posted about it (and we might have spoken about it..) before. if I was speccing a new mac mini - where do I need to maximise performance? am I better off with hackintosh?

Have had 128 on my main laptop for the last 3 years as I had to replace mine at an inopportune moment! All non everyday media (photos/music) is stored on a transcend SD drive, but could just as easily be in the cloud and to be honest I rarely if ever access it - more just peace of mind and housekeeping. I've downloaded games/steam on it and occasion have to clear out, but as long as you're not digital hoarder it's absolutely workable.

Have found that anything that stops surface moisture sitting on the saddles - even a simple as a dish towel chucked on top helps tremendously.

Neglected for 5-6 weeks while moving house. Went up expecting mayhem but everything was in one piece and garlics are looking great. Warm weather has done well for them. Do I need to protect the shoots from any inevitable cold snap or will they be okay?
