I agree, people should be able to make abit of money out of a bargain. But using the same photo's as the ebay sellers seems well dodge. Could it be that the ebay seller wasn't happy with the highest bid so won the auction using an alias and is now posting here for a price that they are happy accepting? Also most people on the forum sell things for the amount they paid, whereas doubling your money on a sale is naff.

Thanks for all the responses guys. The next question is best lacing/spoke count pattern. Don't expect the wheels to be bomb proof. Am I better off with more spokes with radial front and ls radial rear or less spokes with a cross or two? has anyone tested this to see what produces best results?
Cheers

I'm building up a classic racing bike, got an early 90's Colnago with Delta brakes, and most of a c record groupset. I'd like to build up a wheelset with box rims small flange hubs etc. Does anyone know the lightest rim/spoke/hub combo? I have no preference towards brand or freewheel/cassette. I am about 12 stone and work as a bicycle mechanic so having to true the wheelset every once in a while isn't a problem...
Cheers in advance

Bloody hell Spotter. You have made me giggle like a school girl over last page. Best yet I say.
