I know Mike was filmed about a month ago by guys from a skill sharing website, so it was probably him. In terms of getting the facts from him just buy his book.

^^I think that's quite an awkward looking bike. too many spokes, different saddle maybe, perhaps a different chain.... Actually it might just be the colour..

I have a frame made by the same builder, and have his contact details if anyone wants them.

Tbh he built about 10 frames from his shed, all of which are not of a particularly good quality, by his own admission. My drive side chainstay came out of the bb lug, just from normal use....

Unless you are friends with a frame repairer I would avoid..

Absolute result. Just had a call from the policeman on duty that found me on Friday night. Apparently when he found me I told him in my concussed haze that I had had my bike stolen, he has the initiative to go through my mobile phone to find a picture of my bike and send it to himself, then finds my bike (being ridden by a scalywag) and locks it up outside the hospital I was sent to. He wasn't on duty till today. So my bike had been locked up outside the hospital the whole time, and the person who he found with the bike has been arrested!

Unbelievably chuffed, and impressed with both the police and the general public. I can't believe a titanium swift, Delta brakes, and the carradice bag didn't get pinched.

on Friday Night at 5am my chain snapped on my Colnago on my way home. This resulted in my nose breaking as I hit the floor and unconsciousness. I awoke in hospital to be told that my bike hadn't been taken with me or collected by the police.

It is a Colnago C91 in Purple,
Campagnolo Record 10sp carbon Groupset,
Campagnolo Delta Brakes,
Brookes Ti Swift saddle,
ITM Marathon bars with black lizard skin tape,
Halo wheels
There was a carradice saddle bag on the back too.

If anyone knows where it could be I would really appreciate it, also please keep a look out for it on Scumtree or the bay...

The theft happened on Eversholt Street, somewhere between Euston and Mornington Crescent.

Been in touch with the Police today, and it there was no bike next to me when I was found, so it was stolen whilst I was unconscious on the floor.

I have access to what I think may be a really nice frame. It's made of Easton Ally and is made by a company called Curloo. From google research I can't find anything more then 2 crap pictures from Australian forums..

Took some better photo's of the commuter/hack today. added naff bar tape too, which is nice. Really happy with the ride, the hubs are just as smooth as you would expect.

Dura ace high flange hubs onto op's, feels really good. Also Campagnolo Record front brake, which is proving to be more then adequate at stopping me both at home and outside the off licence.

I'm a guardian at the moment ( Newbold Guardians) which is crazy cheap, but I want something more mainstream and finished and clean and with less riot doors. I'm looking on scumtree, wooster stock and find a property and its all SHIT!!!! so any clever alternatives would be really greatly appreciated.

As an incentive if I move into somewhere suggested by a one of you fine fellows I will do a full service on a bike of your choice, worth £125 in a certain bike shop in central.

Edited with more info...

there is a common fault in new CK road hubs. Check for play in rear hub, its a warranty issue.

The hub is really smooth and shifts perfectly. But then again its more or less brand new.
