When I saw one of these bikes locked up on Curtain Rd I was genuinely gobsmacked by how nice it was. I posted about it in Spotted and somebody told me it belonged to you.

I later saw it in Stolen Bikes. Did you ever get it back?

Yep. Check out Callooh Callay on Rivington St. Really cool, unusual cocktails. Nice little place for a date too. Even has a wardrobe you can walk through into another part of the bar.

*This may or may not be related to an incident later in the evening involving the police and a bunch of miscreants from the estate. It's hard to see from my window.

If the sign does not permit bicycles, bicycles are prohibited - You may note that bus lanes specifically permit bicycles.

While I'm at it I might as well see if you guys have the answer to this one:

At a junction, are cars, buses and (particularly) motorcycles permitted to stop in the designated 'cycle' area? I ask because I'm so often forced onto the pedestrian crossing by this behaviour that I've started to suspect the cycles areas might only be an advisory measure, rather than law.

Quick Highway Code query. I wasn't able to find the answer elsewhere.

Obviously cyclists in London use the bus lanes pretty extensively. I just wanted to know what the law is on cycles turning right (for instance) on a junction that's 'no right turn except for buses'.

The instruction implies that only buses may do so (but by the same logic only buses may use bus lanes... so...)
