Had my bike stolen in the area a few years ago. Friend told me to go straight to Brick Lane which we did. Where two people came straight towards us, one pushing my bike. Grabbed it of him with some kind of verbal force which got the crowd on my side and made them retreat. Still can not believe my luck.

I could get us from West Wickham to the A25, then from Edenbridge to the top of Sundridge Hill where I will probably peel off.
Herne Hill to West Wickham, no idea. A25 to the road that leads to Edenbridge, yes, but with a cheat sheet.
Have garmin so if someone can show me how to use it (again) can put route in.
Jaygee - you there? TCX file FTW??
i'm up for the ROTFL route. good practice.
do people know the route well enough to lead though??
TNRC ROFL 23/09/10 route: http://www.bikemap.net/route/326523
Pretty open ride this one. Come along do however much you want to then go home. I will be riding medium pace not going at it and will wait at junctions and top of hills. We'll set off together but there is no obligation to stick together. Sam , Tex, I'd appreciate your knowledge on this one so if you can please ride with me...but you don't have to.

I just bought a new winter bike. As it is from Purley it will even have a Surrey Hills cassette on the back :-) @ pascalo and 6pt re. the mountainbiking, remember gearless society from our Surrey Hills earlier this year? He has been building a few mountainbikes over the summer and we will be definitely up for this. I know somebody from North Drinks who mountainbikes Surrey Hills regularly. I will ask next time whether we can join?

Massive thanks to pisti and the great company of everybody else. My winter bike is sorted. Just bought an Eddy Merckx of a time trialist in Purley.

Yes, that was Ben, Sean and me. We had a brilliant ride all the way straight to pizza where we bumped into butters, clockwork and truli before the rest of the mob showed up. Pink seemed reasonably satisfied with the outcome of today's football but admitted that he really is a Hellas Verona fan now. Ben and me rode down Swains and before we split we agreed that it will a piece of cake for him to break the North pizza record next week. I am still surprised that I was the only one who seemed to know the route.http://www.lfgss.com/post1532321-12710.html See you in two weeks.

The man deserves a break he has been riding a lot on the weekend; and he came out on the morning of the football ride to see us off.

Would anybody like me to list last train times from various stations, probably not?
