I hope there has been research into a decent joint for brekkie at Bath...
Should be the terrace again. Especially in weather like this.

You'd have to be on the first train from Portsmouth at 4:30am (fuck!) if you want to beat the bike ban (none on trains arriving in London between 7am-10pm). As far as I can see no ferry from Isle of Wight to the mainland will arrive in time for that train.
So earliest arrival in Londons famous London will be 10:13am!
Looking forward to this. Haven't been on a TNRC for about 3 months!
Brilliant, I am in, a bit late for work it is then!
Has anyone ever done a deluxe and worked the next day?
I intended to on my one and only deluxe. Come the morning after the ride there was zero chance of me going in. I would rather have resigned than face anything but a bed after that ride.
Isle of wight looks good, I like ferries. But next week's impossible. Very frustrating. Have to go to the Ice Bar with clients instead :-(
I have worked after every deluxe. Bath I started at 14.00h, Surrey/Kent I had a coffee first and started at 11.00h.
6pt told me when we spoke on Monday that old people don't need as much sleep. And as Tim said we are getting old, that is the advantage then!

Awesome news. Reminds me of when my bike got nicked around Spitalfields Market. A friend advised to go straight to Brick Lane where we saw two guys pushing my bike towards me. I went up took it and shouted 'thief' as loud as I could. He let go but was thinking of taking it back. Further very loud verbal accusations made him back up, but still he was thinking of making a move for the bike. This went on for a while, him retreating further, then coming a step back towards me. With the crowd meanwhile getting on my side they finally disappeared. Scary, lucky escape. I am looking forward to bump into you again some place in North London on the way home and you didn't forget the bike ;-)

Been playing with Strava recently, you don't need a Garmin, it also collects gps data from an app either iphone or android. Its good to see other peeps times on the same segment of road, keeps track of component usage, if like me you keep forgetting how long your chains/casettes,tyres last etc
Last nights spin here
I'd been thinking of developing something like this for a while, local record holding is a brilliant idea. Who doesn't wana be king of their local mountain/hill/bump?
Will be importing... then realising i need to ride more miles!
Ben, you did extremely well up Exedown last week. Have a go at Swains. From a standing start. Had a bug but felt better today and tried this
Might I increase my time if I was prepared to still feel sicker at the finish? Do a warm up? All amateurish, but never mind, the lane is just in front of my door.

Another great pic of your bike fussballclub! The idea is to show off the background to prove you've matched the tag though.
Waiting for next tag of your bike closeup
Congrats on the tag, however I am now going to have a wee bit of a moan. The last two tags that you have got it has been difficult to make out the old tag in the picture, I am not accusing you of cheating, but in future could you please ensure that there is sufficient detail in your pic of the old tag that we can identify at a glance you have been there and got it?
You ever tried to get a parking space in this town?

Anybody else got mudguards?
