I had a brief fling with the few things in my steam library that were mac compatible, but then gave in and installed windows on bootcamp so I can play proper games. Currently enjoying crysis, which I can finally run on high settings with decent framerate. yay!

yup. I use better touch tool, which has a few touchpad tricks to it as well but doesn't provide much by way of customisation. There's another one out there who's name escapes me that enables you to decide whether you want thirds or quarters or halves or whatever, will see if I can find it.

e: there's bettersnaptool and isnap, but neither of those are what I had in mind. hmm.

That 21" without user upgradeable memory makes no sense at all.

I really can't decide whether to get a MBP or an iMac.

I figure portability would be nice but then my laptop now has basically never left the house.

The cheapest Retina display 15" is 1528 which would get me the second spec 27" imac which looks lovely.

Any photography people care to chime in? Can't imagine how editing feels on screens that small really.

Would upgrading memory and such be a nightmare on the new model laptops/imacs? £140 for an extra 8gb is steep.
