this seems cheap to me and strange that there is not a huge rush for it.

I will throw the headset in. I have loads of BBs that will fit, but the length depends on the crankset you will be using.

Yes, both are italian, just checked.
By the way: there is no such thing as an italian threaded headset, both british and italian headsets are 1 inch (= 25.4mm) x 24 tpi (threads per inch).
