Just got a vagabond frameset. The aim is to build up as a commuter/ town bike but also do some occasional off road. For on road I'm thinking tyres of around 38-40mm. For offroad I'll probably want to swap out for wider tyres. In terms of wheelsets it occurs to me I'll need to check rim widths etc to find something capable of both? Any recommendations on an 'all rounder' wheelset?

Thinking of getting a streamer so I can play my own hard drive of music plus streaming services etc. Budget under £500. Completely new to modern hifi stuff so would prefer something that I can plug in and play without too much hassle. Current set up is old inherited hifi kit (about 20 years old) which will also be in need of upgrading quite soon (the amp is from Japan and needs a transformer for the correct voltage).
Was thinking of a dedicated streamer but what is the view on something like the below which seems to be an amp as well?:

3 close calls in about 5 mins this morning. Oncoming driver turning right across my path, truck waving another truck through while I was filtering through and a cargo bike rider dawdling along and suddenly veering right without indicating just as I was about to pass. Long reach rim brakes with greasy roads not a great combination.

As Backstop says, you're really only meant to enter the box via the lead-in lane
I thought that had now changed:
It was previously only legal for a cyclist to enter an ASL from the break in the solid white line, usually found as a small gap on the kerb-side edge, however, this changed in 2016, so now a cyclist can enter from any point.

Bike shops need to focus on services given that the online retailers will always beat them on price, the issue is what services and how to monetise them- bike fits, custom builds, coaching, organised rides, a sponsored club- all the stuff that takes dedication and expertise to create, and that is very hard to create from a three ring binder of retail store processes.
Agree, and it would be good if there were more places that provide quick and decent repair services for commuters who aren't enthusiasts. At the moment there are few places where you could reliably get something basic fixed in a short space of time and be riding again soon. It puts people off when the only option is booking in for repair weeks ahead...

Thinking about whether to upgrade my grinder. Have a Krups GVX2 but wondering about whether a Baratza Encore or similar will make a noticeable difference. Any recommendations on home grinders for £150 or less? This is mainly for filter/ pourover - so don't need to grind for espresso.
