Thinking about getting some bluetooth in ear headphones to potentially use with my mobile phone (google pixel 3a).

This is to replace my current set up - corded in ear headphones (Blons) with a headphone amp/dac (AudioQuest Dragonfly Cobalt). Happy with the sound but find having all the cables etc, cumbersome when travelling etc.

Any recommendations? Worried about a drop in SQ when taking the Dragonfly out of the equation.

For a low alcohol beer, this is surprisingly good.

Built up a fixed recently and had first proper fixed ride in about 8 years. Didn't notice it being any harder than before. Went for a nice low gear in the high 60s. Did get some fatigue afterwards, but suspect that's just coming through COVID and not riding for about 3 weeks. I remember sometimes before when I rode fixed finding the nagging continual drivetrain a bit tiring, but I wonder if that was more a bike fit issue, plus a need to work a bit on flexibility/ core strength.

Surely reckless cycling is already unlawful. Also, not sure if all of the highlighted route is actually a shared path, some I think are just road sections e.g. the bit around hurlingham park.

Still testing positive 10 days after first one, and 12 days since first had symptoms. Apart from slight sore throat and slight occasional fatigue have been pretty much feeling normal. Have had enforced time off the bike which is probably for the best, but wondering how I'll feel after getting some proper miles in.

I'm in the same situation. Finally got it this week. Luckily not as bad as flu so far, i.e. can still pretty much do normal things. Started with sore throat and headache (similar to vaccine side effect) but then slightly concerning chest pain, feeling slightly spaced out, and suddenly feeling tired and wanting to sleep despite being fine just moments before.

Thinking about a trip to Canaries early next year. Any recommendations for cycle holiday companies/ organised group rides on the islands? Preference would be simple, no frills, just nice rides in a decent group.

Just noticed my Wilfa svart burr is looking pretty worn and I think the grinds are looking a bit uneven plus there may be quite a bit more fines than before because my brews are taking longer. I see replacements are available. Worth doing? Only the top burr is replaceable though.

This is for a budget fixed build so looking for something cheap but robust.

New frame arrived but has taken a knock during transport. The bottom of the headtube is bent inwards and it's impossible to get the bottom bearing in. Taken to 2 different LBSs and they both thought it might be possible to bend back and be OK (but didn't offer their services to do it). I was thinking of using a piece of wood shaped the correct internal diameter and tapping it back with a hammer? It's alu. What are people's thoughts on this one?

Seller is being OK about it - but wondering if there is a solution to get it on the road rather than give up and send back.

Didn't mind it, except for the fun of trying to gauge breaking distances when using long drop rim brakes

Roundabouts - do most drivers not know how to use them. Drivers increasingly seem to think that the rule that you must give priority to traffic coming from the right only applies if its motor traffic. Just got beeped at for having the temerity to turn right on a rbt by oncoming motorist.

Watched the BBC breakfast piece. Rubbish, lazy journalism. Set up binary positions between different road users and suggested responsibility/ fault is equal on 'both sides'.

Riding home yesterday down a cycle path and slowly approached a scooter rider up ahead. Peds were around so I slowed to the same speed as scooter rider to hang back. Scooter rider suddenly noticed me, swerved and starting shouting something about using a bell.

Set off before 7am - previously at the time found the roads nice, calm quiet. Today roads around west already full of streams of private motor vehicles - grim.

Seen that before with Halfords.
