I would like to buy a pair of 28/28hole rims for tubs.
In an ideal world they would be wood insert type either Scheeren or an Australian make which is Freebairn ? ( not sure of the spelling ). Any other make will be considered wood insert or not. I am prepared to buy just the rims or built up wheels. Also is there a Illustrator wizard out there who can do art work for head tube badges and other frame lettering, for me to be able to screen print transfers, I have everything needed to do the screen printing except the ability to use illustrator very well.
Thanks

Do a search on Google using "epoxy resin with metal".
Silver solder will be better than brazing
Lead repair you need a butane torch, flux, and some Lead.
Clean the area, put some flux on, heat the area gently, more flux, remove butane torch and then put the lead on . Don't heat the lead with the torch let the heat in the frame melt the lead.
Allow to cool slowly, wash flux residue off, file and smooth down the solder. -

You can also put the diesel in the down tube and let it soak from the inside. Diesel may well contain some water and a good coating of oil after would not go amiss.
If you assemble things that are liable to corrode and become stuck and hard to remove than a coating of "copperslip" will help them to dismantle easily the next time around.

Once you have the paint off you need to polish the steel frame until it shines - no scratches at all - like a mirror. The chrome plating is not polished its get all of its shine from the surface below. First class chrome is a three layer process. clean and polish steel, plate with copper - polish, plate with nickel - polish, plate with chrome. I had a quote to plate a frame and forks recently £300
