Sorry but I've no idea about anyone in tht area, howeverrrr. It's pretty simple to do. Takes a little time but it's not too hard. Just takes patience and a bit of wit.
http://bicycletutor.com/wheel-truing/
That video explains it really well, and highlights geting the wheel radially true (imo the hardest part) But yeah, allyou need to do is follow his instructions, and buy one of these.
There are a few different sizes so make sure you get the right one

A friend of mine has one of these, it'll be fine for the top part of the headset but too thick for the little preload adjuster below the very top nut.
Draper sell a 4 in 1 headset spanner that I have, and it's fine for general use. Wouldnt be up to much using it a couple of times a day as I've noticed some marks on mine however for repairs and headset replacement on your own bike(s) it's fine.

Hey adam, what do you mean near end of life?
Dura Ace/Mavic Open Pro Wheelset (700c)
700c for 8-10 speed Shimano Cassette. Hubs in excellent condition, rims are near end of life. Come with good Michelin tyres and tubes.Guessing he means the rims braking surface is pretty far wore down, meaning the rims will need replaced soon. Not a big job though.

Brand new, unused. Still in it's plastic packet.
Ultegra 6600 32H Front hub.

Selling due to going after a different set of hubs.
Ideal for a real good wheel build or a training wheel, can be laced whatever way you please, as the extra meat above the spoke holes allows for radial spoke lacing, or simply the conventional and strong 3 cross etc.
There is no skewer included, however I can throw one in i've got lying around if required.
Looking for £30

Cheers,

Ron Kitching Vitus 971 frame and forks for sale.
Seattube: 61cm C-T, 60cm C-C
Toptube: 57cm C-C
120mm rear spacing with horizontal dropouts.Frame is in overall good condition, no dents, no dings, just with some surface rust on the stays and on the forks (Majority of which shown in pics), would clean up easily with very little effort. Bought it a while back, bit too big for me, was covered in vasoline when I bought it to stop it rusting (I didnt do it though.. was a pain getting home with the super slippy gunk everywhere) Gave it a light clean and it has sat in my room now for quite a while. It's just getting in the way at the minute.
It has a really odd paintjob and the paint looks like gunmetally grey colour on the top, seat, and downtube. The lugs are really cool, and painted cream. The forks and stays are painted duck eggy blue. The decals are for the most part, in ver good condition.
Vitus 971 were steel, double butted frames, something similar to the likes of Reynolds 531. It isn't glued like the Duralinox 979 frames, which bypasses the whole mysterious headtube failure.
Anyway, here's some pics.
Bike half built*;

Frame and Forks;

Detailed bits;

Bad bits;

Following MMcCarthy's advise decided to advertise this for sale here aswell, as could turn out to be a lovely single speed or fixed gear bike.
Looking £130.
It's located in Belfast, Ireland, but will post. Will be a bit extra to post, but I'll pick up a free box in Halfrauds and whatever it costs me to post (parcel force or send it now) will be all you pay.
If you want to ask anything, my number's 07857388264. Or ask mccarthy :P*Please note this is Only for frame and forks as stated in title and as seen in the second set of pictures.
Cheers,

What size is your rear hub? I squeezed a 130mm rear hub into an old steel frame and it pushed the driveside chainstay out a little more than the non drive side due to the factory bend (for the chain ring clearance on that side). It always crabbed but when I starightened my bars it wanted to go right, however doing no hands it always favoured going left. I#d say just check your stays and see if they're both equally straight with the string method.

Both my old Raleigh frames have Super free feeling headsets compared to the Trek and Peugoet road bikes I've also road. I greased both them up properly and replaced the bearings (soley because they were old, not because they felt too free or loose) and it half sorted it. Pretty sure it's a headset issue (or not an issue? I like a free-er feeling when steering). Either way just make sure you've enough grease and the headsets properly tightened.

Haha, mick got one first and I loved the panasonic colours. Then I seen one going extremely cheap. So i went to look at it and it was pristine so i took it. Then I was looking for a bike for my bro and ended up getting 2 more frames with the same colour scheme :) One of the frames I used for my fixed gear bike and the other I built up with the best bits of both for him. My fixed frame has ovaled tubes and my other one has normal circular tubing. both 18-23. Think micks is 501. Kinda funny cause none of them are the same bike, just all the same colour schemes :)
So there's actually another one at my bros house haha :D

provisional dibs on #28 and #36 pending some infos!
