Looking for a comfortable TT saddle. Currently riding one that's too long/too thin and it's a bit uncomfortable for anything over a 10TT.
Saddles are quite subjective and I know being general and saying 'a comfy one' is a bit.. vague. Maybe saying a TT specific saddle would be more accurate.
Something along the lines of Selle Italia T1, Prologo Nago TT, Fizik Tri etc.
I'm based in Belfast so posting must be an option.
Cheers!

The pre-race DJ was appalling, and leaving near the back of the pack must've cost me 15 minutes compared to earlier starters. I could've run the single track and North Shore sections quicker than most of the people seemed to be riding them.
Also, having an ex-World Cup stage (DH & XC!) winner win? cough Ringer cough
Disappointed Ed wasn't there to do it on his Globe though.
Pre race DJ played exactly the right type of music for the event I thought? Cheesy, upbeat pop? From what I seen everyone was enjoying it!
I started from the same place as you and Mick, Tom, and someone hid my bike on the starting grid so I spent ages trying to find it and still completed the course in not much over 2 hours. If your stats are right in saying you'd have been 15 mins quicker I woulda been in contention for the win! The winner done it in around 1:45-ish. I got held up on the single track but it only left me with tons more energy for each climb on the first lap. Second lap I didnt get held up as much. Although I did pas quite a few people on the single track!
This race was so much fun in all honesty. A lot of people weren't doing it to compete for the win (myself included) and there were a lot of mixed ability and crazy bikes. I just went all out and tried to do it as best I could, but so many others were in fancy dress and I even spoke to a couple who did it all tandem!
Best weekends mountainbiking I've ever had, even though there were only about 4 hours of mountainbiking, compared to the 14 hours of sleeping, 13 hours of driving, 10 hours of drinking, and countless hours eating!
Was nice meeting you guys and always nice to see Mick back in Ireland.

I still live in Belfast and ride fixed to work and back and maybe once during the week for training (40+ hilly miles).
I've never been out with any of the other guys who ride fixed in belfast but there seems to be an increasing number of them. More and more getting ridiculous dildo bars too :(
That said, I probably look ridiculous to them cycling to work in lycra even though it's only 5 mile away. Meh, it's comfier, and I dont like wearing the gooch out of my jeans anymore.
If there are still wednesday meets happening I mgiht take a trip down some time. Dont worry though, i'm sure I can throw on a pair of jeans for that :p

so if I don't cross the cables under the down tube, I have to do left lever (front) -> left boss (the thing behind the head tube where the cable housing stops) and right lever (rear) -> right boss. So no crossing of the gears cables & housing in front of the head tube, not so good for cable housing torsion when turning.
Yep, that's the route you need to take but if you're saying the outters lead to crap tension in the cables you're still going to need to remove the bartape and swap the outters then. Or replace them.
All my STI/Ergo levers run Left lever/left cable stop and Right lever/Right cable stop.

So I just changed the wheel on the Bianchi for some (quite low-end) Mavic. Still better on the road than the old ambrosio/chorus wheels.

Oh and I have a question: to get the rear derailler together with the rear brake on the right (and the front on the left), I have to either not cross the gears cable in front of the head tube (not-so-good torsion of the cables) or cross the bare cables under the down tube( which is the current situation). Which one is better ?
Your shifters are different on both sides, so you have to swap brake cables, not gear cables. You cant swap shifters either unless you have double jointed fingers and can bend them in crazy ways.
The cables going down the downtube go to each derailleur. Leave them as they are. The cables going below your bar tape are for your brakes, take the tape off and swap the inners and outters round. Then you'll have the rear brake on the RHS with your rear derailleur and your Front brake on the LHS with your front derailleur.

Looking for a 26.6mm seatpost in good condition (at least around 140mm above insertion point)
Needs to be silver and if possible something nice like a fluted one, or an aero shaped one.
It's for a 90's steel Trek and want to get rid of the ugly scratched black one that is in it at present.
Cheers,

Afraid not but it disappoints me that the fork is 'gone' :(
