Nine inch nails did a pretty huge sale a few months ago. Everything was numbered and came with a certificate of authenticity. Set up a store style eBay account and list everything. Then hammer it out to the fans through Twitter/forums etc.
That's a really cool gig to get. Obviously won't be as vast as the nin sales (they were selling a the shattered guitars, parts, everything) but it will still be cool and garner some big interest.
