What's the skinny re. the rather clandestine polo event at the London Bike Show? Bemused as to it's below radar status and lack of information here.
Anyone going to watch or participate? Are there throw in times available for below standard/uninvited/grass roots polo players? Can we get free/cheap tickets or passes?
Anyone know anything???

Today MZA and I got right royally covered in sh*t during a three hour perambulation of the water parks area, even managing to find some hill work.
Next week it's back to the road riding with a 50 miler:

Not decided whether it's a Saturday or Sunday trip yet, but sign up if you fancy it:

Road rides are Saturdays - however MZA and I talked about some occasional offroad action and I'm away until Sunday, hence this one-off ride. It'll ultimately only be me and him anyways, but was doing the decent thing by offering it out there.
In summary - don't ride elsewhere when you coulda, shoulda, woulda played polo.

Road rides through the winter are hopefully going to be every fortnight, so the next one will be Saturday 17th December.
As a Brucie Bonus we'll be doing occasional offroad excursions, starting this Sunday morning from Chorlton at 10am. We'll do the secret trails around the water park and hack our way as far as Flixton before hitting Arc Cafe for bacon/vegan butties. Not tough elevation-wise, but I assure you you'll be exercised after a couple of hours or so in the gloop. Route to follow.
Once we're offroad ready we'll move into the Peaks for some proper bad ass work...

Not exactly in the public domain, but there is an ongoing reference to the tournament in some recent LHBPA minutes -

Interesting line about not 'losing sight of grass roots'.
MZA has confirmed. Better for returning workers to get it done and dusted early doors, methinks....
