So, I've managed to bend my DAMP forks in Karlsruhe. Damn. No longer rides straight with no hands and you can visually see one leg veering away from the other.
Anyone got anything 32mm rake and 405 A-C? long shot but anything close would be considered.
The identiti ffx forks are an option at 30mm rake and 425 A-C, how would that change the handling? Would I even notice?
Shit man, that sucks.
But since it's a polo specific bike, don't they give you some sort of warranty on it? -
Honest answer, but I have not done any of the actual science (not even weighing them): Milwaukee poles seem to have a thicker wall. All things being equal, the result of this should be obvious. They will be heavier, but stronger. You have to decide what you want from a polo mallet - light vs heavy, strong(er) vs weak(er). Like Lucky does with his heads, maybe you'll find a place for both in your mallet arsenal (I brought one of each to Karlsruhe).
To put things into perspective as to what a weaker shaft means, Lewis from Australia just wrote me to tell me he had just retired his perro del mal(let), which he bought from me before the worlds, after 11 tournaments (and a world tour).....

Have you tried strengthening them with a powerball?

yeah! That bike was such a landmark of Bike Polo.
I vote for it to be introduced into the Bike Polo Hall of Fame. -

Do you already have an idea about a ratio for every country? Or the way you gonna use to choose it?
I have an idea of which communities have more weight in Europe. ;)
Since we are very much dependent on the amount of courts, it is useless to open that can of worms at this point.
One thing at a time. -

For my part, I think it's really important to set the dates very soon, so that everybody (teams and other tournament organisers) can plan for next year. The sooner we know, the better. And it's obvious that organizing the euro's needs more than two month. Ask Uolmo.
Selection should not be part of the organizers task. They only have to allocate a number of teams for each country. Then, it's up to each country to determine the selection process (city, qualification tournament...).
Like I said, dates are late may, early june. Take 3 weekends on those dates and that's when it'll very likely be. They are location dependent, so I can't confirm the specific weekend yet.
We've been working on the euros since we started the Sexy Polo Beer tournament, so we probably have a better idea than what you might think.

Is that Jorge Clooney on the last one?
