Its a common misconception that an anarchist society would be one in which there are no rules authority or order. Anacrchism passionately believes in order. What it objects to is illegitimate authority and that no authority should exist without good reason.
In this simple form, it is why I find it a compelling argument. Markets, States, cultures should not dominate, unless there is a clear reason. Often the example used is coercing your child before they run in front of a car;there is no time for discussion, you just grab them. But other than in these circumstances, everything should be challenged and justified.
The utopia would be where everything is done mutually, and it is wrong to say 'it'll never happen, since as Chomsky says,' do you thinki during the darkest days of slavery slaves thought they would ever be set free?' Or do you think a 13th century peasant could have forseen Democracy 700 years later? Social chance on this scale takes time.

Finally got it..but only after realising the need to tighten the locknut into the cone, so that it wont move. Took a while to get my head round it, as I keep thinking by tightening the lockkuts it would just tighten the cones more, then I realised you hold then to prvent this and now it is perfect! Yipee.
Thanks

So I think the bolts are just loose, but I have no idea how they got like this... I have since tightened them up with a wrench on either side, is this sufficient?

Finally got the barstards on! I found the best way was to get a fair bit of pressure in the tube, that way, the tube helped keep it on. It was tight at the end but not too tight, and overall it took about 1 min to get on with the help of the inner tube!
But now I can't work out which way the tread is supposed to go... the 'drive' arrow doesnt really help. I assume the the arrows of the tread want to be pointing forward?

Which one:

I don't go above 120 psi so presumably the former will do...

What's so hard about the Silca? Push it on, pull it off. Levers are often annoying to lock down when you have short valves and no pressure and have to push the tyre down.
Because unless it goes right down, it can make a seal and therefore doesnt work. Once it is right down, its fucking hard to get off, and everytime I smash my hands against the spokes and it is very painful!
And I have to let the tyre down fully to even top of the pressure because I need to put my thumb on the tyre, behind the valve, to hold it so I can force the head on.. the whole process is ludicrous!
-
Which are the easiest to use? Do any of them simply have those stick on and bend lever like a mini morph? My Silca Pista has to be forced on, and then forced off, and it is incredibly painful and annoying and I'm looking for something easier. What is the SKS head like, or the Joe Blow? Looked on youtube but cant find any videos of it.
