the wheels on the bike i picked up to beater/polo has hammerited rims, its fine,

its not nice but its not awful, it ends up having a look like galvanized steal
but darker, if that makes any sense

This reminds of 2 friends of mine that were attacked by 4!!! pieces of shite, and I mean attacked, punched, pushed, bruised... the all lot. but because they're the kind of iwillrapeyourmutherfuckingarseifyoutrytotouchme, the 4! ended up in hospital, one of them KO :D .... the police came to them (my mates) to the unbelievable conclusion that, not only they couldn't press charges, the other 4 were in really bad shape, so they should just walk way silent, no fuss. Of course they couldn't care less, but my friend had his spectacles smashed on the floor, that alone is over 300 dorrah.
They had what they deserved, still the law protects them just because after starting they didn't 'win'.
Go figure...

my friend had similer,

at one point he was 3rd best at judo in the country, and was set upon buy 6 guys, the result was two knocked out two pinned and two run away. he was arrested and the gangs mothers pressed charges and it went to court, lucky it was all on CCTV and it was proven that they started it so he was acting in self defense.

This seems to be a recurring theme within Graduate students designing cycle related products... There is absoultly no need or target market (other than the clinically insane)for this product

while there possible isn't a target market fro this stuff, its not about that

its about challenging pre consived ideas that ultimately lead on to a better products in the long run, designing things like this can open the door to ideas that previously wouldn't be considered and make things better for every one.

if people didn't try new things regardless how fail they look or how un practical they are we wouldn't have what we have today.

me and my housemate bought the Carlton. sorry guys. if its any consilation it wast a brooks, isn't all original, and front forks had been nicely touched up by some fucked up paint.
Had to drive into the middle of nowhere, both phones ran out of battery, 2 pubs, angry dog, 2 alarms set off...and finally at 12.30 turned up and bought. They guy has around 200 bikes I'd say, odd.

really now, 200 thats a bit odd, i do wonder where he gets them form, he told me he works on car's but then i assumed he went to boot sales and stuff, where are all the bikes kept?

i had the chance of collecting it tonight.............. there's a moral in there somewhere.

well i'm not getting the bike either now, i was going to pick it up today took the day off work and everything

got a text at midnight to say someone came and got it, he's an utter cunt,

i replied to his text that first come is for who call's first not who gets there first and he's been a wanker, i'd even bought a bike off him before. he said ''he said i'd rather not deal with you again if you swear for no reason'' my reply was that this is the perfect excuse to swear at him.

i reckon someone offered him more, though he said he had other racers as well, but that's not the point really, seeing as he lives in the middle of nowhere, i'd like to know where he get's these bikes

that was my thinking, worst come to worse and its not right i can clean it and put it on the bay or similer and make money from it

the frame is my size so i'll give it a ride, the duel 5 speed / single speed thing it has going on means i'll only need one bike (as if you only ever need one bike!)
