I want to see Cancellara take on (and take) the Hour record. The rest of 2014 is just a big dope-filled, WWF wrestling-esque masqurade of lies, damn lies and power meters.
I vaguely recall the rules for this being set at 1970s technology. Would be nice if Fabs ends up on here bidding for some ancient frame and wheels and haggling over the price of some c-record cranks...

Arrgghhhh just missed a GT triple triangle frame on Ebay listed as Aluminium for £100. Saw it just after the auction ended - why the arrgghhhhh? Because it wasn't aluminium it was Ti! Last nighthttp://rover.ebay.com/roverimp/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?pub=5574889051&toolid=10001&campid=5336525415&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]http://rover.ebay.com/roverimp/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?ff3=2&pub=5574889051&toolid=10001&campid=5336525415&item=181253478645&mpt=3720919
How can someone list something so badly? Wrong material, no size.
And to think I have an ebay autosearch set up for ti GTs.Edit: relisted at 900 quid bin. Still no size though.

I'm guessing it was set up to mimic his TT position as much as possible.
Plus - this whole "pro's bike don't fit them" thing... please, enough. Not only do they spend billions of hours a year on them riding faster than we ever will, but they are also surrounded by other people who know what they are doing. I think we can assume that there is a reason, and if there isn't - I don't think anyone here is in a position to call it into question.
The number of hours spent riding these frames is a good point. If they were to small wouldn't the entire peleton be out with stress overuse injuries come GT season?

I think this may have been the f+f that I saw in the ebay finds thread. I didnt bid in the end because others warned me off it. Really stinks to find the guy lied to you. I hope repair doesn't prove too expensive. But even if it takes months to get the funds in place for this, I think you'll end up with something amazing.

The security guards in paternoster sq might stop you if there is a ton of you turning up on bikes. But there is nothing really to see there. Much better off finishing on the steps of st pauls.
180km of traffic lights, road works, left turning vehicles without indicating, adison lee cabs, diesel fumes and getting split up by traffic. This is so crazy it is heroic.
This reckons there are 6000 traffic lights in london. I fear you might have to cross through >500 of them.

"But now we've gone completely the other way, it's been nice actually. My climbing is going to be affected massively. By the time we get to the Worlds, I'm going to be seven or eight kilos heavier than when I won the Tour."
Hippy, given any thought to entering the worlds? Seems like brad things you have the right strategy
