I wont even ask about the ambrosios then, I think I'll probablu go with the DP18s then, I like the look of them and they are my first build so something cheap and cheerful : )

@Ph1, parkers where i plan to get mine too, until those mavic popped up there i was pretty decided. Ph1 if you build a set of DP18's let us know how they compare to your previous mavics please.

sausage fingers: the frames not that great cost me £30 so tryna get a cheap solution, and ive already swapped out the spindle to square taper, just need something with a longer middle section to move out the left cup.

scrunched up tin foil with a bit of water also is pretty good for gettin rust off chrome, my forks turned out pretty nice after a bit of elbow grease

is the rear wheel stock too?

what hubs and rims are on the rear and front wheels?
