SRAM Rival 172.5mm crankset (used) with GXP bottom bracket (new) Compact 50/36t
£70
I've just swapped my cranks out for 165mm versions so am selling the old ones along with the new BB which came with the new cranks. They've had 2 years of light use and are still in very good nick. Can also come in the fancy SRAM box if you want it!

Collection from Kings Cross during working hours or LMNH/Stoke Newington after work. Could be persuaded to post. -

I am also a shortie who looked for ages for a rucksack that's not huge just to carry my everyday essentials in. I eventually found a Fjallraven Kanken Mini...it's like the normal Kanken rucksacks which are quite small already but even mini-er!
It fits phone and keys in the front pocket, and wallet, emergency bike things and an emergency jacket in the main bit, and a lock if I need it. Job done.

Thinking of finally ditching my trusty DZR's after many years of use as they're finally starting to fall apart. Pleased to see there's a girl version of the Giro Rumble VR, the Giro Petra VR.

I also stumbled across these, the Giro Alpineduro, not good for the summer but potentially a commuting gamechanger for winter. Waterproof and insulated, what more could you want for horrid commutes?

Yeah sorry I'm only coming to watch as well, I haven't been to the track once this year, for shame (winter due to pure laziness, spring/summer work has taken up all my weekends) and I'm only making my first reappearance at inters this Saturday, then the Sunday womens session. I expect to be 10% as fast as I was this time last year, sob.

Does anyone know if the womens race typically uses lower gears? I was thinking of going for something under my normal track gear like 86-88 because you know, corners are scary, and being able to slow down a bit easier would be good to keep out of trouble.
But if everyone else is going to be knocking 90+gi I don't want to be left behind.

@peter_h Thank you!
@lynx I don't know if it's anything serious that's actually broken is the problem though. The guy who normally drives it left me a user manual with a page of things to do if it doesn't start but I barely understand it. If I knew more about motor mechanics I'd probably realise its super simple to fix - or as you say it just needs a full battery. The problem is it's now in the middle of a plaza far away from plug points for my plug in battery charger. If I asked one of the other catering vans nearby if they could jump start it for me do you think that would work? It's had an MOT recently and was working fairly well under 'the guy who knows what he's doing' but then it's been sat outside our HQ for 3 weeks in the rain which it hasn't liked very much apparently.
@dirkbang Ha! I do not envy you. I've been in charge of it for 6 months (not actually driving it because I don't actually have a driving license - lol) but just getting it from one end of the country to the other has been stressful enough. It's had the wing mirrors replaced now so I don't think they fold in at speed. It's still fucking loud though.

Here's a long shot BUT...
The Rapha H-Van is currently stuck on Granary Square, Kings Cross. On Tuesday it didn't start because the battery was low, but after an hour charging with a battery charger it just about got going and drove down to Granary Square where it was doing some Wiggins Hour Record promo stuff.
This afternoon it was supposed to return to the office on York Way, but it's not starting. It looks like the battery has a bit of juice left but the starter motor just isn't catching properly.
THE MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION:
Does anyone 'on here' have experience fiddling with old vans or know a car mechanic with experience with old vehicles who would be able to come and have a look at it tomorrow? It's supposed to be driving to Smithfield Market for the Nocturne on Saturday morning so it's quite urgent that it gets fixed soon, not to mention it's stranded on Granary Square and the private owners won't like that very much after a few days. -
Do your own Hour Record on Lee Valley VeloPark's closed road circuit on June 7th a few hours before Sir Brad does his on the boards...a good opportunity for anyone who has signed up for the Strava #myhour challenge, or just wants to have a stab at it for fun.

The best thing is that there will be a big photobooth at the end to get your photo done holding your distance looking the worst you've ever looked, just like the pros!

Hey all. Rapha have been running a weekly series of short evening talks for women where you can drop in and listen to an informal talk with an expert about a single topic related to cycling. The last two on training and nutrition were really awesome so I thought I'd belatedly let you guys know about them!
This weeks talk is about bike fitting and Cyclefit are coming in to demonstrate how they do bike fittings. Next week's one is about bike maintenance and Muc-Off are visiting to explain how to clean your bike from headset to hub. Not the sexiest of topics but probably ones with the most benefits over time!

Tony's face crossing the line on Tuesday vs his face today being pushed to the line by his team mates...breaking my heart.
