Me and my brother looked in to going actually. There was no way to fly direct from newcastle to athens, therefore the amount of travel time was unacceptable (11 hours) and the price was mental (£1500). I'm sure most others concurred.

I think you have missed my point. I appreciate your argument, and I understand that it is based upon the assumption that both Sunderland and West Ham are completely fucked for players. However, that does not mean that either Jarvis or Fletcher are worth that amount of money. All it proves is that the scouting teams at the clubs in question are shite and that they have been unable to find a more suitable option at a more acceptable price.
