An 18 speed 54cm hybrid bike has been left in our communal bike shed for over 2 years, by a former resident, who has obviously forgotten all about it. Looks like it has hardly been used, will need the dust removing. Free to any key worker with ID. Can be collect from near the big Tesco in Bromley by Bow

MKM Reynolds 531 52cm 20.5” Steel Track Frame
Wes Mason and Arthur Metcalfe started building MKM frames in Harrogate in 1972. Wes and Arthur had ridden together in the Carlton team from 1968. Wes won the Gold Medal in the 1962 Commonwealth Games and the Star Trophy in the same year and Arthur had ridden in two Tours de France and had the unique distinction of winning both the RTTC Best All Rounder Competition and the Professional Road Race Championship in the same year – 1966. Thus they had the ideal palmares to attract orders from British clubmen, both road racers and time triallists.
It was originally intended that Ron Kitching would be involved in the company but, having seen how much it was costing to set up, he took no active part in the company other than as landlord of the Chapel Works, on Skipton Road, Harrogate, which was to be the base of the company until 1980.
The frame number is 914 making it 1973 frame check out the website https://www.mkm-cycles.co.uk/
The frame has at some stage in its life been repainted by Fred James cycles of Lincolnshire.
The seat tube is 52cm 20.5” from centre to top and the top tube is 54.5cm 21.5” from centre to centre. It has braze ons for a rear break cable along the left hand side of the top tube and mudguard mounts on the forks and seat stays
I am looking for £125 without the headset before it goes on eBay, it can be collected from Bow, nearest tube Bromley by Bow or I can meet up centrally alternatively it can be sent by Parcelforce for cost.

A Chance To Own A Piece Of Mercian Cycling History Mercian Track Frame 22.5” Owned By Olympic Cyclist Billy Holmes
Unfortunately, this is too small hence why it is up for sale.
This frame came from a veteran Hull cyclist who is a life long friend of the Olympic cyclist Billy Holmes. Billy Holmes give this frame to his friend back in the day. It can be clearly seen that the bike Billy is riding and this frame are the same. The frame due to its age, has at some stage in its live been repainted and would benefit from a restoration to bring it back to its former glory.
The frame is a classic Mercian Track frame which can be seen from the beautiful lug work. The seat tube is 22.5” 57cm from centre to top and the top tube is 22” 56cm from centre to centre.
I am looking for £300 before it goes on eBay, it can be collected from Bow, nearest tube Bromley by Bow or I can meet up centrally alternatively it can be sent by Parcelforce for cost.
