Solid and light, them two words don't usually go together do they?
I've made myself a mission of trying to make my charge plug lighter, not sure how I'm going to go about it, because carbon forks on that paint job would look horrid, would probably look good one pissed up's ride though. I could ideally do with a new wheelset which might loose some weight but don't really know apart from that, ideas?

I'm starting work at 8.30pm tonight and going through until midday Friday, so no post-work drinks unless it's a boozy lunch...
Maybe we can all meet up for a beer post-ride on Friday? I want Thomson posts for all my bikes now - will have to have nasty crashes and bend them all, like I did on the Kona, to justify new ones.
I've always wondered what's so special about the thomson seat posts?

No, not at all. I think they're lovely, too. I was just saying that 25s are likely to fit OK. Strangely, VO only post the max tyre size for those rims. Let us know how you get on with them, since edscobles the only one on here who's been posting about them.
They certainly look very classic. Have you had any punctures yet? Are they kevlar?
Right now I just need to buy myself a new frame.. trots off to classifieds...

Have I just stumbled into a conversation about Panaracers?!
@Spencey. Pretty much every road rim in the world will take 25 tyres. Those rims are meant for tyres from 25 - 32, I'd say they're a bit chunky for 25s. But they are nice and shiny.
Can you can show me another lightweight silver/chrome wheelset which doesn't cost the earth? Otherwise I think I'll go with these. (sorry if that comes across sarky)

This would look right at home with some carbon forks. Didn't you have carbon on your last bike?
