Shame you missed the Ride East, would have been a good opportunity to get some miles, meet some peeps and get some experience riding in groups. Look out for something similar by MA3K, he leads fun rides.

Since I got neg repped twice in this thread I'd like to state that I have had for some time some fucking aka good aka non-knog lights. And that also I couldn't be more for equal rights.

This is months too late but as this is the Internet I figure people we're concerned and probably still thinking about my earlier posts.

AfroT there'll probably be a couple of L-2-B rides on the forum here (hell I may lead one later in the spring) so look out for one of those. Good fun and lotta knowledge knocking around in forum-types so you pick up tips as well. I'd never knock a charity ride and may be good fun if you leave early, BUT a forum ride or going with some experienced chaps offers the following:

1. Company will be better
   
2. Route will be much faster
   
3. Pub stop
   
4. 25,000 fewer bikes in your way
   
   

Sign up if you want to donate to charity, but if you read back you'll see it's not reviewed as an easy-going fun ride to brighton.

I tried to call out some bad cyclists this a.m. but most of the flourobrigade seems to have taken the tube. Must have been the cold, the heavy rain, the wind and the darkness that put them off. Pfff.

Of those I saw though most were ladies, so respect due to the fairer sex today for being tougher than all those boyracers (on Marlins).

I shouted RED at about 5 cyclists jumping the light in front of Kennington Station last night. Every single ped looked at me :)

So glad I don't have to cycle to Thamesmead now. Whew. I was just about to take off for it as well....
