Pro-Lite looks also ok and it has 21mm wide rim. Tho it has 15mm axle in the front, but is also convertable to QR also.
In the past I have used 18mm wide rims and 2.4" tyres in together and they worked out ok.Offcourse I coud buy some wider rims and hubs, but..What hubs would be good in "affordable" price range?
Is Sram X7/X9 hubs from nowhere? -
You could get better. I doubt for that price though.
Can't remember who I suggested these to before. They look pretty good for the money as well.

After readind all those comment's I'll think that I will stick to that fork. Front tyre will be atleast 2.4" and running tubeless, so low PSI is possible.
Next thing is the wheels and because I don't have that much money to spend, I have been thinking these:

Out of interest, did you ever try riding it with the longer fork?
I'll stick with my previous opinion that 445 will handle better.
Nope, I haven't got change to do that. Selller was allready strip the bike when i buy'd the frame. Maybe that 445mm would be best option.
Also I find this: http://forums.mtbr.com/29er-bikes/useful-exotic-cycles-carbon-fork-xxix-info-538661.html -
So I just got this Univega (Raleigh XXIX) frame an the next thing is to buy fork for it. I have been thinking about Exotic's carbon fork's, but the a-c lenght is a bit mystery still for me. The stock fork on it has been something 340-440mm. Like this:

Here's is the last owners pic with 470mm Salsa:

So..Would 445mm or 465mm be better for it? And also alu steerer or carbon steerer one? Price diference isin't that much between them. Also Hylix with 460mm would be one option, but I think that Exotic's look better.
-
I'm trying to look down on my monitor from above to see the logo. Is that a Univega?
Proper singlespeed off roader planned I hope!
Yes, is it a Univega. Got the frame pretty cheap. Hell yea it's gona be singlespeed off roader. Next thing is to order Exotic carbon fork for it. Original fork's a-c was 430-440mm based on what I have read and I might use 445mm fork on it. I think that 467mm is bit too much, here's last oweners set up with Salsa 470mm fork;

What would you say? This is gona be my first 29er.

dude!
they dont look like 7710
you took over my parcel?!They don't are 7710, at least I think so. I think that they are HB-7600? I was looking for high flange 7600 with njs stamp, but those where so cheap that I had to buy them. I think I will build those with H+son TB14 rims or VO rims or might even sell them and buy some other hubs with njs stamp. Maybe not, because I think that they are nice looking hubs on very good condition.

Yea, i talked in other lbs about that long nipples thning and they have same amout internal threading so no help with those. And they're not so durable because it leaves some empty space in the nipple wich may broke easier. So they are meant to be used with deepper rims when 12mm nipple does not protrude through the rim enough to locate the spoke wrench. I'll have to take that in next week for other dude to truined, he say'd that spoke lenght shoud be fine. Will see!
Yea, kind of weight weenies wheels, but I also wanted them to really be resistand an support so that's why 28h in wront. Rear 32h. Weight shoud be a bit under 1400g, which is really fine for me.
Next the rear wheel. I just wanto make sure that it goes right, so. Which is the right hole for the first key spoke?

Thanks guys! Yea those Sun Ringles temted me too, but can't just buy all in the same time.. I just buy'd those WTB Frequency i23 rims for now and look some hubs later when got money to spend. (Fckging student life) Rims looks really good:)
