Finished the '85 Claud Butler Canyon at the weekend. One day I will bung on the big fat tyres and use this as a street cruiser (I'm 43, not sure 'street cruising is still possible for me mind) but for now I wanted to build it as factory spec (bar the new tyres, seatpost and saddle)...

i think its a beautiful frame and if i wasn't currently building up a concorde gavina i would have been seriously tempted....

Got this off Buzz a couple of weeks back, never had a Brooks before and to me it's just way too heavy and doesn't suit the bike I bought it for so moving it on. It's in good nick, nice worn-honey coloured and rails are all mark and rust-free.

Looking for what I paid, 35 Pounds + postage or you can pick up in Lewes.

1. Peugeot 103 Carbolite f+f. Bought by a mate of ebay but I gave him a much better Evans frame instead. This is a beater frame at best, very tatty. cable guides and rear mech been filed off. British threads.

1. Dawes Super Galaxy f+f. 531 Super Tourist tubing, very tatty and needs a respray. Canti's (old, need clean) included. Surface rust, marked, but I think it would make a nice small touring project. British threads.

1. Campagnolo NR braze-on shifters. Great condition, all fixings present and correct.

2. Coppi chrome forks. 1" steerer. Decent condition, will polish up nice. 154mm of which 24mm threaded. Needs lo-stack HS.

3. Shimano UN71 BB, ITALIAN thread. 113mm. Used but still butter smooth.

4. Campagnolo Veloce 9sp chainset. 53/39. 175mm. Rings have wear but plenty of life in them, few marks and scratches and heel rub. Couple of scratches on front face (see pics). Square taper.

5. Suntour Superbe (1st Gen) rear mech. 6 speed, nice condition. Quite rare. Springs and jockey wheels very good.
