I have had a look on mse but I got freaked out by all the types of mortgage (ie the introduction). My main problem is I get overwhelmed by boredom every time I start looking at this stuff. It's way more fun looking at entirely unaffordable properties in Dulwich.
I looked at moneysupermarket.com to compare mortgages and picked from that search the same mortgage we were advised to get by an IFA. I based my decision on how much the mortgage would cost, in total, over x years which moneysupermarket allows you to sort by.
Moneysupermarket's calculations include the fees you have to pay e.g. valuation fee, arrangement fee, etc. and these can be quite significant so make sure you take them into account.
I only bothered reading about the types of mortgage that were the best deas for us over x years. At the time, the best deals for us were either fixed or tracker mortgages so that was all I read about, they are pretty much what they say on the tin so it didn't take long.
I definitely recommend either looking at places you can afford, or the ones you'd have to win the lottery for. The ones inbetween are just a bit boring/depressing. There was an awesome place on Sydenham Hill up for £1.5million or something (price is irrelevant as I can't afford it). In fact, Six Pillars is up for sale again, love that place!

I can't understand how anyone could watch that documentary and take anything positive away. I watched in disbelief and was compelled to keep watching, waiting for the moment where the situation got better, but it just kept getting worse, and then the documentary ended. The way the police acted was shocking and I was stunned and totally dismayed by the end.
Clearly there are some local councillers who are now bathing in "Bucky".

With great regret, I'm selling my Klein as it's too big.
Based on the serial number I think it's the 53cm frame from 1999, so ST (ctt) 55.9cm and TT (ctc) 54.7cm.
Catalogue for Klein from 1999 with full geometry: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/d/74534-2/1999_20klein.pdf
It's a stiff, light & responsive frame.
The paint's not quite perfect but, it's beautiful (just realised I managed to take 2 non-drive side pictures, doh)!

Difficult to capture the paint colour as it changes depending on the light:

When I got it, it had slight damage to the paint work on the chainstays:

It also came with this scratch and a very slight dent on the top tube:

It also had signs of cable rub on the head tube:

Looking for £300. It's currently still built up so can be test ridden/tested for size in SE23. Undecided about whether I'm selling shifters, brakes, etc. or keeping them for a future unknown project! Collection only in London.
Any questions, let me know.

still one my favourite pictures of anything anywhere, ever
Me too. It just made me snort.
They might be getting on slightly better - there was a nose sniff with no audible growling or hissing and Higgs seems to occassionally come inside for longer periods than just eating which she hadn't done since we got Tesla.

Folding the Perfect T-Shirt - YouTube
I believe the benefit to the clothes folder is that everything comes out exactly the same size. Then, as they occupy the same volume, you can compare how much they weigh.*
*This may be a lie.

Old:
Apologies for quality of picture, I have a close up of my bike and the dustbins if people want! 2nd gen iphone doesn't have a very good camera. Anyway, the old firestation on Perry Vale.
New:
IRIE! From fire fighters to fire.
(Sorry these are all on the wonk, had to call 999 after watching a bus plough in to the side of a car and was feeling a bit distracted. Plenty of people on hand to assist so I left as I had no skills to offer the situation)

I know the French have been bitter this year, but this is a bit much.
