Mostly true, but there were a few good mixte frames built but they seem to be hard to come by at a decent price. I've been keeping an eye out (as have quite a few others) for a while and still haven't found anything.

I was in Paris on the weekend and must have seen at least 100 nice (mostly Peugot) Mixtes. I guess they were never as popular in the UK.

So I just used the Axiom Streamliner for London to Paris. Only 3 days so pretty light load, one pannier and a top bag.
It went really well, sat back far enough on the racing frame so I didn't clip my heels. At one point my wheel did get pulled forward on one side in the drop out, I suspect this was because I didn't have the QR tight enough. It was easily fixed by unloading pulling the wheel back into place and then doing a better job tightening.

Really good product for the money and no modifications to the bike necessary.

Keep it in NZ. It's harder to get good track frames over there so it seems crazy to send it back to Europe.

Two different h plus rims that look very similar, to quote their website: With a similar profile to Formation Face, Eero is wider, slightly higher and significantly heavier.

Is the rear rim formation face or eero?
