What was I thinking? Ordering QR hubs and expecting them to actually come with skewers.

@Velocio Time to call out bad cyclists thread is beginning to drag up the upcoming court case of the lady who died after being knocked down. Action needed?

Did the same to a serial RJLer on CS3 last week. Told a HobbyBobby™ on his trike that this dude had was RLJing like a pro, and that he'd most likely do it again right in front of the two of us. He did, but HobbyBobby™ couldn't catch him because he wasn't prepared to run all the further reds that RLJer was blasting through. #csb #nojustice

Used to go shampoo-free all the time, but Mrs FJ used to complain hair would smell a little sweaty, so went back to using a tiny bit of shampoo as compromise. It's definitely something you have to break through, takes about 2 weeks for the hair to recover from the shock of no shampoo and start producing the natural oils again, but you definitely need to wash it with warm water more often.

Commentators (fwiw), were saying the paint finish was making it difficult to visually guage the lay of the track, which in the old 'dirt' days might not have been as much of an issue.
I too am up for jumping, as are the racers, but some of those doubles were seriously too large even for the top riders' abilities. There seems to be a contest between track designers to go bigger than everyone else, without regards to the effect on the racing, or riders' safety.
IMVHO.
Still, loving watching it.
I always have an imaginary OTP replacement bike in the back of my mind, in case my bike got nicked and I needed to get back on the road ASAP, and I'd say the current Plug would definitely be my choice. They went through a bit of a lame stage a few models ago, being made out of weedy-looking no-frills steel, but the new Alu model is an absolute bargain, ripe for upgrading too (if you need to).
