Almost, a Scottish rider in London for City of Edinburgh RC. I think the damage is terminal. Also, not sure i could ever really race 100% on it again knowing, even if it was fixed in some way.
I was surprised how easy the track was to ride so I thought I must not have been going fast enough and kept upping it until I discovered it's not so easy...
It's not a bad design IMO, but not perfect, all the fastest guys were running out close to the edge on the straights or off the edge in my case.
I think the stay impacted with the edge of the track. Photos of the damage below \/ :-)http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=6208180&l=52c40aa139&id=586536482

Ouch, Ouch, ouch and ouch.

Round a small track. This was not a velodrome for track riders. It was for trick riders.
It was bloddy good fun though. I wish I had more time on the track.
^ copy that. It became pretty obvious that anyone who rode on the tops of their bars or with risers faired much better. Going down on the drops was just too cramped in the corners, even if it was keeping it 'real'.

dare we ask what soulless, corporate shitepeddlars are appropriating the latest yoof fad in a desperately misguided attempt to appear cool and down wif da kids, all be they about 5 years late?
i hear they like 'raps' too.
I can assure you there's no bandwagon jumping going on here. Anyhow, I hear that Dubstep is the new thing ;-)

Don't know, but I'm pretty sure some of the UK-based organisers will publish the data at some point. Perhaps Andy will be able to get his hands on it?
