New Shimano CS-HG800-11 cassette goes all the way down to 34t (11-34). Good news for my weak knees, however tech docs also say the new cassette is only compatible with (also new) Ultegra RD-R8000-GS. Any thoughts as to whether the new cassette will work with good ol' 105 RD-5800-GS? Possibly soneone already had an experience? Thank you.

I was upgrading from BB-7s at that time

My experience with CX77s is totally opposite, they worked really well and were a worthwhile upgrade compared to any other mechanical disc brake I've ever used

After a couple of views I'm not sure what was Matthews banging his poor bars for? At the start of the finish sprint he was clearly in front of both Kristoff and Sagan, so poor position and missed their move, plus he very clearly lacked speed to both of them. Should be happy with the bronze?..

Hasn't someone (Tony Martin?) been riding a single front ring at current year GT's TT stage? It was discussed at LFGSS as well, and everyone concluded it was more chainline reasons rather than anything else. However, if it was Martin indeed, I can see why his chain did not fall off...

So are they doing this on TT bikes or 46/30 by 11/32 road bikes?.. Shocking

I'm taking my 150mm full sus mtb to Alps in two weeks. Not sure what you'd do there on a hard tail? Maybe the new Carosello 3000 trail system in Livigno would be better for a hard tails, i think it's smooth enough for that.
