GA2G , I find your coment here tiresome "I'm sure we could all find better ways of filling our time, than to play internet referee."
After I posted in the Japanese cinema thread, you pm'ed me requesting that I delete the post and offered a suggestion where it would be better place, even though there had been previous posts about anime in that thread. So my post was not out of place. Anime is a part of Japanese cinema.
I do not want to make a big thing out of this, but maybe you can find something better to do with your time.

The picture from Vogue has a striking resemblance to (a young) Bob Dylan.
I saw her in an interview on morning telly (cringe) which had a clip of her singing a jazz standard. She sounded amazing on a par with Ella Fitzgerald.
As for her being ridiculed for being hermaphrodite , at least her parents had the forsight not have gender reasignment therapy before she developed sexually, letting her have the decision which sex she would like to be(as this only complicates these peoples intergration into society ((usually leading to another procedure later in life)).

Maybe this does sound laughable : )
Never bothered to use a mirror just relax every muscle in your face, focus on a space in a wall and then look through it.
Maybe it does have a Travis Bickle effect, lookin like an airbourne motherfucker certainly makes the little douches think about wether they want to mess with you; )

I would suggest you all spend anything from 15 mins to one hour a day practising your 1000 yard stare and poker face.
Its all in the eyes, when they try to gain eye contact (which they will in a majority of times before these instances occour),
you must be capable of fearlessly doing so for a moment, then look through them for about three times as long as you held
eye contact and then look away slowly. This all happens very quickly and needs to be a reflex (that may need developing).
It's also about timing you must meet their gaze at the same time as they clock you.
I am talking from experience, having lived in E1 and SE14 for over 4 years.
Not as some find of internet tough guy. -

Certainly agree with the sentements about capoeira
YouTube- Capoeira Fail
But nobody would be busting any Tai Chi on you.
The fighting application of this kung fu style is
to yield under force neutralising the attacker's
energy, then counterattack using an unyielding
force of great power & speed. -
I think you need to do some Tai Chi.
A proper practitioner will teach you form and application.I would disagree with the comment about forms being learnt wearing a Gi having no application in real life. I learnt Judo from a young age and having applied it in real life i would say the Gi is usefull for gripping but is not essential for application.
The Gi helps to hold onto some one after throwing them, whilst training or in competition this is a form of courtesy, helping your apponent to brake thier fall.
Many if not all fights go to ground(sometimes very quickly)so I would argue that a good knowledge of ground work would be fundamental.
