@ Tenderloin - Stomach mostly, the rest of me is fairly lean. I do a fair amount of abs, obliques and core work so I've got decent muscles in that area.
I've been on a vegan diet, whilst I enjoyed a lot of aspects of it, I do think I've been lacking protein, and although I've noticeably lost fat, I believe some of my weight loss has been muscle loss, and I haven't been making as much gain muscle-wise as I should have by now. So I'm thinking of keeping some of the good elements of that diet (all whole grains, lots of leafy greens and fresh veg) Introducing some more protein through lean meat and the occasional shake, and cutting out some Carbs aswell.
Coupled with working some more high intensity cardio into my workout, i think that sounds like a good bet to get over this plateau, I'll try it for a couple of weeks and see if it makes any difference.

Right - over the last few months I've been exercising alot more running/cycling/weights and on a fairly strict diet - Finally got a handle on portion control, eliminated snacking and started calorie counting etc. In the first month it was working, lost a decent amount of weight etc.
Now I've plateaud completely, and can't shift that last bit of stubborn fat. I'm thinking of going of swtiching to a high protein/low-no carb diet to see if that will help. Think atkins but a tailored-to-me healthier verison of it. At the moment it's the only thing I can think of that might help.
Stupid? Any other solutions?

Ok cheers.
One other question, ive just noticed the 2011 Allez comes with Shimano 2300 which have the thumb downshift? Ive heard terrible things about it, would it be difficult to replace for a normal style shifter?
I've got Sora shifters on one of my bikes which are essentially the same - It's fine if you spend most of your time on the hoods, as it's not really possible to drop down gears whilst in the drops.
I'd avoid 2300 like the plague tbh, it's cheap and nasty, still has square taper cranks instead of the hollowtech like the sora. I'm with dammit on the 105 suggestion, if theres any possibility of stretching to that (there will be some good deals over the next few months as the 2012 models start appearing) The quality is much better, and your more future proofed.

I had butterfly bar as an experiment, it's great to shift my hand around, but turn out that's exactly the problem I found, in the end I realised it's idea to have one good hand position than multiple compromised one, at least for me that is.
I loved drop bar, especially on fast tour, but for a steady tour (50 miles average), a flat bar wouldn't be a deal killer for me, apart from headwind of course.
I noticed last summer alot of the touring cyclists along the trans-canadian highway route had drop's with aero bars aswell. Not something i'd seen very often in the UK (for touring)

This is officially insane
