I suspect a nice easy ride to be honest mate. Feeling a little knackered myself :) Looks like just me, you, Barry and Dave. My mate Jim has pulled out as he's forgotten a prior engagement. I've sent Benski a PM as I believe he lives in Leamington. Will txt you later to confirm you're still on for meeting up.

Still suggesting meeting at the Memorial park for 6pm, but let me know if that doesn't suit and we'll arrange something else. PM me if you want my mobile number.
The route back to mine goes through Stoneleigh, down the outskirts of Cubbington and through Lillington into Leam.

...friends call them a hipster twat for buying something that they think looks cool but actually worsens the handling and performance of their bike...
Just (genuinely) interested to know how it worsens performance. Is it the rotational mass of it or something? I've not actually seen one in the flesh so I haven't got a clue.
Sadly, I have a deep dark desire to try one out, but that would be overridden by my stronger desire not to put anything on my bike that would make it worse (if that makes sense). Please help kill my secret repressed hipster lust!

So we all good for the 2nd? Managed to aquire "Breaking Away" thanks to Marcus, also got "Road to Rubaix" now. Suggest we meet up somewhere like the Memorial Park at around 6pm Friday? Ride back to mine via Stoneleigh/Cubbington. Should be an easy ride of about 10 miles. Maybe order in some pizza or take-out etc?
So, what film do you guys want to watch?

Love hidden blade/twighlight samurai/when the last sword is drawn. All very good and sitting on the shelf :)
Anyone seen Itchi the Killer? a bit fucked up I enjoyed it.
Theres some good Thai films out there too. Always enjoy Ong Bak and Bang Rajan. Also enjoyed Chocolate (the film, though a bag of cadburry giant buttons wouldn't go amiss right now!)

Feeling a bit bleh today. Fancy shortening the ride a little to somewhere like the Saxon Mill (but going the long way) ?

"The proposed spending cuts are "the equivalent of putting every man and woman in Coventry out of work", says Ms Harman"Seems like a good solution to me...
they are already on the dole. no?
Speaking as someone who grew up in/works in Coventry - fuck you ;)
But seriously, it's a bit of a shit hole these days. Not like when I were a lad etc [/nostalgia]

Thought this might interest you guys. Someone has created a "live" map showing trains travelling on the underground. Apparently it's relatively accurate (though still the odd bug)

Google maps mashup FTW! Almost hypnotic to watch.

I think we got it all now...
